I was one of the earlier chaps on this thread - good one as well.
I was considering using CFL's with CBUS so need relays as they don't
dim, but now you've all sowed the seeds of doubt.
changing the bulb to say an LED later is one thing but swopping out my
CBUS relay unit to a dimmer unit - can't justify it.
So going forward it would be wise to install now
GU10 fittings ie fit a 240v lighting infrastructure rather than 12v
CBUS Dimmable
Swop out the bulbs for dimmable 240V LED's when they arrive.

Is there anyone with the compact CFL's and ordinary tungsten bubs
and/or halogens in the same house as this seems to be the best way to
compare.
