RE: AppleTV formerly iTV

Meh, take it or leave it to be honest. I don't actually like the whole
minimalist thing that apple go for - I had a Mac Mini on my desk for a bit
at work, and after the initial "ooooh" it's about as sexy as a
lunchbox.
Given that the iTV thing looks identical to the mac mini, I'll pass.

Perhaps I am just too jaded on apple, but as soon as Jobs started talking
about "you can stream from up to 5 computers." I just switched
off - nothing
he said past that point even registered.

"up to an arbitrary number of computers, because that is what we, in
our
benevolence, will allow you to do". Uh-huh. Screw You Steve.

Of course, it will be lapped up, but I'll be damned if I give them a brass
bead!

Ian "grumpy" Lowe.

Yeah but if you could get the iTV to run your own software then isn't that
one sexy bit of kit?
