Theoretically .... YES
In reality..... not always that simple.
I remember somone on the list had some similar cameras which had a 4 core
cable for Ground, Video, Audio, Power and in there particular model, Pin 4
Audio Ground, was the one that had been used. All the pins designated as
Ground in a SCART are normally connected together on the PCB inside the
equipment so the cameras worked when plugged into a VCR but wouldnt work
when he tried to connect them as you want to until he joined the ground
pins
together inside the plug.
Best bet is to open the plug and find out which pins have actually been
used. Video will be on Pin 20 though (VIDEO IN) because you are supposed to
be sending it into a VCR. If the Camera actually had a SCART socket on it
then it would be Pin 19 (Video Out).
No guarantee on which ground pin they have used though.
Could be
4 (Audio Ground),
5 (Blue Ground),
9 (Green Ground),
13 (Red/Chroma Ground),
17 (Video/Luma Ground) or
18 (Blanking Ground)
