RE: Raid 5 Storage Slow Speed?



Did you let it build the array fully before you started copying or is
it
building whilst copying?

If the array has already spent time initialising before you started copying
then that seems a bit on the slow side IMO (but then again perhaps the
megaraid does its parity calculations in software like the highpoint Rocket
RAID cards did and they were bloody slow too).
