I think the official answer is 'maybe'.

Experts on other forums suggested that going via my structured cabling and
using cheap filters is bound to impact my levels, so I moved the router
next
to the master socket and bought an over-priced Belkin filter, but it didn't
make the slightest bit of difference.  Arguable if you're in a marginal
area
then you might have more luck, but if you're at the end of a crappy line
(like I am), nips and tucks won't really help.

Do you think it is worth buying new ADSL filters - the ones I have were
either free wit hthe router or from Ebay - will a better filter yield
better
results?
