RE: Smarthome Show
I'm there as an exhibitor for the duration with Sensible Heat
(Honeywell
Hometronic) & Smart Home Controls (Smartkontrols).
Nothing brand new on the Sensible Heat stand this year - the hardware
continues to migrate to 868mhz with some hardware/firmware updates to some
modules. Development of Version 2 of the webserver/rs232/Ethernet interface
continues but I doubt it will make an appearance at the NEC this year, more
likely to be ready by Cedia and London HB&R show later in the year.
However
I have I've finally convinced them to release the RS232/Ethernet(telnet)
protocol to interested parties, albeit without any direct support, so
integration opportunities have been opened up.
Smart Home Controls should have their new Smart Text module on stand -
allows conventional heating systems to be remote accessed & controlled
by
SMS, see www.smarthometext.co.uk <http://www.smarthometext.co.uk/>
for
details.
