I hadn't thought about that (putting one humidity sensor into the
stale air return that is).  I'd sort of thought that it would need one
in each wetroom to trigger things but your idea might work; depends on
the dilution factor as you point out.

Is there a one wire humidity sensor?  Is it in some way tunable?
