Noel,

Some cab's have closing rear doors/ fixed backplates, thus limiting maximum
depth.

When measuring depth of equipment, remember to include the length of kit  +
minimum radius of any protruding cable.



Other concern would be if base is too shallow, and you're sticking a
monster
on top, it would over balance (fall over) - - - though a few decen UPS' in
the bottom usually counteract that! :)
