Actually, now I think on, I know I've seen ones that are designed for
under-sink mounting in a kitchen that produce *boiling* water, and are
intended to replace having a kettle for boiling water to make hot drinks
etc... ISTR that these maintain a small reservoir of hot water
internally to enable virtually instant delivery of boiling water to
cover the time required for it to begin to heat up the in-flowing cold
supply. I wonder if similar such things have been designed for hand
basins?...
