I can see you're being very careful in how you phrase these posts, but
really, there is no need with me - I joined xPL after the split from
xAP.  I am not interested in cliques and rivalries - I just want to help
people automate their homes.  If someone prefers xAP, then who am I to
argue?  My software is free - I have nothing to gain by making xAP users
jump through hoops (and install software they don't really want) to get
my xPL apps working with their xAP setup (I think we all lose if we
can't combine our efforts at some level).

I would prefer to spend my limited free time on writing new apps rather
than on porting, but if someone wants to convert my apps to xAP, I'd
have no problem making the source code available (although a little
reciprocity would be very welcome)
