Web interface presenter

Hi All,

I have a 15" LCD serial touch screen that I wish to use with my HA
system MH
(MisterHouse) web interface.
I want to put this touch screen in the wall of the kitchen.
Any ideas on what to use serve up the web interface? I could use a standard
PC with say Win98 or W2K with a network interface but this seams like a
massive overkill to display web pages. All it has to do is present web
pages, the pages them selves are created by MH.
A small foot print PC with no fans generating no heat (or very little)
would
be ideal as I will probably need to put this in the ceiling above the hole
in the wall. Only other thing might be a serial port for a barcode scanner
and perhaps some localized sound / mike I/O.

I have absolutely no experience in Linux.

Regards,

Neil.
