Re: 19" racks - worth the expense ?



You can compliment me on my rack anytime... ;-)

I need to add a couple more photos with it now populated. The only
thing it cost me were the bolts for the castors on the bottom,
everything else was salvaged from skips, including the rack strip. The
frame is actually two tables cut down and joined at the bottoms of the
legs (i.e one upside down and one the right way up). I keep meaning to
write-up the construction properly...

It now lives under the stairs and houses my hifi gear, a standalone
Sony TV tuner box, old network switch, laser printer and a few
work-in-progress project items.

It's hopefully coming in for a bit of a revamp soon, once I get my
Xlobby PC built and zoned audio amp connected up :-)
