10mm dia conduit sounds quite small :-/
Have you tried upgrading the shielding on your DIY cable, maybe with
kitchen foil? (but be careful to avoid short-circuits)
Or run Cat5 into a kitchen cupboard, mount the Cat5-VGA box there and
run a shorter VGA cable from kitchen cupboard to screen (I hope you
haven't replastered the wall yet...)
Try adding 01, 02, 03, 04 etc. to the end of the CPC part number to
get the special-offer prices. If I find them in a flyer at home I'll
let you know.
