Which media centre

Looking at the options for replacing the mess of TV equipment in my
lounge
and wonder what experiences people have of the current "living
room"
orientated media centres.

So far I've found
Sony VAIO XL100
Philips Showline MCP9350i
Acer iDea 500

The Acer seems to be getting very mixed reviews, can't find much about the
others (wonder if they are too new?).
