Hi Paul,

To turn it on and off, I used a trick I read somewhere. You jam the
on/off button on with a bit of wire or plastic (I use a bit of plastic
from a cable tie) and then use x10 to turn the plug socket on or off at
the mains. Works great.

OK - so I need to go buy a DVD remote for it then. What's the IR mod you
have (soft/hardware mod?)

Anyone got a remote and receiver they want to sell?
