On-topic- There is an infrared kit for the xbox you can get - just a little
soldering needed.

Don't know if anyone does this:

I want to put the old Xbox in Node0 purely to use XBMC and feed the output
into my video switcher. That bit isn't a problem but I want to also
achieve:

1. Remote turn on/off of the Xbox  - (WoL for turn on would be good)
2. Remote control of the menus - cursor keys and select etc

Is this possible? Anyone done it?
