Chris,

WiFi is at 2.4 Ghz which is microwave (well very nearly...) and as such
requires 'Line of Sight'. You literally need to be able to see from
point A to point B! Line of sight surveys are used for microwave dishes
which is a (wo)man literally looking through a set of binoculars...

There is also a fresnal zone which can cause reflections and therefore
interference around the line of sight. You shouldn't need to worry about
this though...

HTH

Nigel

I've put an ariel on my roof and have had great results, over a mile
line
of site using a decent antenna at the other end.

Bought my kit from www.fab-corp.com, note there international shipping
may
seem high, but when you contact them it is normally less, and very fast.

I have used them at home and work and they've never let me down.

Regards

Simon
