Good call - not sure as yet, but if I'm thinking about curtain or gate
closers I was wondering how to hook those in. I guess something like
Idratek
could interface with those generic devices as well..? Hopefully someone
with
Idratek experience can confirm!

Also - how much would you want to interface with bits of kit that only have
switch inputs or aren't designed to talk to other HA kit? If you do want to
do this, something like HomeVision hardware might be essential as it has
huge power with it's analogue, digital, relay ins and outs etc.
