In which case does anyone known if these PIRs
(http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/article1688.html)
where ever designed to
be used in a security application - or where they just intended to
provide occupancy for light switching?

James Clabon, any input on this?

Cheers
Graham

I don't think there are any. Everything you can get for ZWave in the UK
you can find on http://www.letsautomate.com - and as
you will see,
there's not an awful lot. There is supposed to be new stuff becoming
available in the next 12 months, but then again, that's what they said
last year :-(
