Re: WANTED: Hard wired IR repeater

Hi Chris

> Frank... does this system need to be used in its entirety?

You may be able to use the FirM Jr controller on its own , but you would
require some sort of ir combiner to take the ir from your baluns .....I
have a pcb which i use as a splitter / combiner which i have used
previously
to combine ir signals from some KAT5 modules , maybe this could be
used......

> So can parts of your system be used just for this function?

Really depends on how your baluns send the ir signal , if they do it
like
Keiths KAT5 units then you can use one or more of my ir combiners and my
Firm Jr controller........
