Adam,

The big issue I have with TomTom ,which I suspect will effect you using it
=
in the car for music, is that it "takes over" the screen. There
is no minim=
ise button to get access to any other app running (like your music
software=
). On older versions you used to be able to get the start menu up by
clicki=
ng at the top of the screen and then use this to get access to other apps,
=
but it no longer does this. The best workaround I've found is to use one
of=
the hard buttons on the PDA to bring up another app (contacts, email etc) =
and then from there you can get access to the start menu and other apps.
St=
ill it would be nice to have a minimise option.

So you guys who have already bought the Vario II.... hows the speed of
runn=
ing TomTom and other apps at the same time?

I am in the same boat as you Marcus, I currently ipaq 4150 and cheap pay as
you go mobile .
But want a pda to do a little more tomtom and music in car at the same time
etc .

I am hoping the vario II fits the bill.
