Consider the E6400 instead - it's only fractionally slower, but is made on
a
different process, so runs cooler - great for a server.

I just got a new PC with an E6400 - my focus was games performance, but
that's largely a function of the kickass GFX card - the mobo/core2 pair is
a
solid choice.

It's an ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe - well loaded with features, dual gigabyte
Ethernet, 7.1 sound, all the toys (firewire, stacks of USB2 ports...)

No complaints so far - screamingly fast, rock solid.
