Now this bit is guaranteed to confuse somebody!

I just remebered too that not all pixels are square! This will confuse the
issue (and me) and I'm not sure how to get around this, unless the panel
has
a given ratio.
As an example, the Pioneer PDP436XDE plasma has a resolution of 1024x768
pixels (4:3), in a 16:9 ratio screen. The pixels are rectangular, not
square.
However, we have as given the 16:9 ratio, so everything can be worked out.
Without the ratio though, you must at best carry out an 'educated
guesstimate'.

Hopefully, as Forrest Gump said, "that's all I got to say on that
matter".

Steve.
