Yup.

's not a problem - it's a feature :-)

I figured most poeple here would be more familar with imperial units, yet
the values provided in catalogues etc would give a diagonal measurement in
CM.

Just noticed that it's the seamless blend between metric and imperial
measurements causing the problem!
