RE: [OT] Web n Walk T-Mobile

I got one a couple of weeks ago (after the rave reviews it got here)
and
am pretty impressed with it. Certainly seems as quick if not quicker
than my DELL AXIM x51v (which has a 624mhz processor!)

Waiting for 1Gig card before loading TomTom6.

I played on the web a little bit but not enough to give an informed
opinion on how good it works.

The side mounted scroll while and side mounted OK button make single
handed use a breeze, the only slight niggle is the the only way I can
find to move between "tabs" (like on the settings screen) is to
use the
scroll wheel to focus on them and then use the DPad to click sideways.

FYI the MDA Vario II has just popped back onto the T-Mobile again

I'm in the same situation as you Ho Yin.

I'm just a little hesitant as I'm switching from S60 and am unsure about
the stability of WM5,
and it's ease of single handed use - Stop Sniggering at the back ;)

Considering getting the T - Mobile Web 'n' Walk tarrif.

Could someone advise whether the Vario II is still the best phone to go
for?

Are the connection speeds good? Can I have it on all the time or
checking
emails every 5 mins automatically via pop3? Does it work well with MSN
messenger?

I assume there are no problems with it running TomTom 6?

I currently have a Orange M600, but am frustrated with GPRS's slow and
flaky
internet connections.

Any advice and best places to buy and best tarrif to use appreciated.

Regards,

Ho yin
