Staples have a Maxtor 'Shared Storage' 300GB NAS drive for £89.95
in
their clearance sale . There is also a lower cost (£69.95 ?) 200GB
model. I am told there are two variants of this drive manufactured a
standard and a plus. These are standard. The Plus has additional
software inc a backup utility and an embedded uPNP music server I
think. These in Staples have a sticker saying 'Bonus.. coming soon
..software upgrade for these feartures so looks like maybe they are
updateable should you want these. Local Staples branch had 6 on the
shelf tonight.
