Also with a long runtime UPS you not only have a lot of batteries (and so a
lot of weight to consider) but also a lot of batteries to replace every
five
years or so...

...it's that expense that has made me think twice about additional battery
packs for here even though we get 2 or 3 proper power cuts a year and
probably many hundreds - if not into the thousands - of
"glitches" per year.
