Figured it would be a way to xAP enable Comfort (and therefor in my
system, CBUS as well as they already talk natively)

Yes it could but it needs 'personalities' coding for each of the devices
it connects to - that is something that I need to do, it's not possible
for the customer to add these.   A xAP Netiom could present each
response from Comfort as an individual xAP message and likewise you
could send commands as one xAP message but there's little real world
advantage to that. I could certainly do similar for the Rabbit board -
it is easily represented as a xAP BSC 'TEXT' device but I can't see it
being useful.
