Hi Keith

How much were the Dontronics ones to import? Did you get stung for import
duties, customs, VAT etc.? Are they available locally?

They do look rather neat though I agree. I like the size of the first one
and the local availability of the second. Rarely a half way house is
there...........

Typically I only use serial for debugging so not something I would run out
to get.

Have you seen these USB to TTL converters

They could connect directly to the range finder and provide the power from
the USB port.
