Re: Ultrasonic range finder - BULK BUY?
Hi Paul
The only issue when connected directly to the Maxbotic is that it
continually updates and outputs its reading.....A Homeseer User stated that
it was using up some cpu time as its continually receiving data ... The
micro interface is a better option either using it to gate the Maxbotic or
as Gerrys doing reading each sensor and passing the info on as
required......

Thanks Ian/Frank.
HV does indeed have analogue inputs - not sure if I've already used them
though, need to check!
That would be the simplest option with no other electronics needed (unless
I'm wrong?). The question is though - would running the output through Cat5
to Node0 (would be approx 30m max) cause a problem due to voltage drop etc?
Paul.
