Re: Re: kx drivers & sound card recommendations

Do I need 8 zones? I guess it sounds a bit extravagant but one of my
pet hates is patching cables in and out of the rack to re-route
signals. And of course I'm the only one that will do it, SWMBO won't
go near...
I recently bought a nice 4-zone 1U amp and I have a collection of
another 3 "hi-fi" type amps which gets me to 7 zones...

Someone else I know is using multiple Sonic T-amps to achive the same
result. The sound quality is supposed to be very good and they're
quite small in size, e.g.
http://www.tnt-audio.com/ampli/t-amp_e.html

I only have 2 PCI slots in the PC, unless I go down to a P90/Win3.11
machine but I think this will struggle if I load Win2k. I'm just
trying to get the most zones per slot :-)

Good to hear you're happy with Xlobby also, and it can work with xAP.
I think I now have the beginnings of a plan ;-)

Cheers,

Tim.
