It could also stand for
"Slightly-better-than-VHS-when-you're-using-domestic-kit-but-still-not-too-h
ot-coming-off-a-graphics-card"... ;-)

As long as you let MCE do what it does and don't load it up with
"extras"
then it is a very very good PVR ...

... However adding extra apps to it does make it unstable (and I guess I
can't grumble at Micro$oft for that).
