DVR v Windows MCE

  • Subject: DVR v Windows MCE

I'm looking at getting a DVR and was wondering what opinions are out there
on
the merits of going the Windows MCE route instead of a dedicated DVR.

My concern about the DVR's are the many idiosyncrasies that seem to be
reported
and that no single unit seems to be intuitive AND complete in its feature
set.

With quality dual tuners now appearing, is MCE the route to go?

Cost is not a factor, I just don't want to make a decision I'll later
regret!

Does anyone know of a good reference site for MCE that gives a detailed
low-down
on its full feature set, as Microsoft just provide the high-level stuff?

Jim
