Have you used panther? I know many ppl that have gone back to panther.
Tiger is pretty much agreed within pro mac users as being sluggish
compared=
to other osx releases. Maybe it is the spotlight nonsense or dashboards wh=
o knows but we end up having to disable it.

I use Mac in a recording studio environment and have used all the releases

of OSX and tiger was a disappointment (pretty much the consensus amongst

ers). Don=92t get me wrong its still beautiful. With each release after

er things have got better hoping 10.4.4 is no exception.

Way too buggy???!! Not trying to start a big debate here but i'm
intrigued.  I used most up to date tiger on my G4 ibook and its
brilliant! Almost crashes and when it does its only individual
programs not the whole lot! LOL
