I don't have Xap, but I do have my sonos switching on the AVamp,
although I still need to iron out a few bugs. I have a .NET program
running on the server, subscribed to uPnP events from the 2 sonos Zone
players. If the lounge unit changes from "STOPPED" to
"PLAYING", a
message is sent to the ACE server, which tells the Comfort system to
send the correct IR codes to node0. If the unit changes back to
"STOPPED" the amp is switched off after a few minutes timeout. It
works
well, except you do loose the first couple of seconds of the first track
as the AVamp takes time to power on.
The current problems seem to be losing subscription to the uPnP events
after several days, and not getting the expected event when zones are
linked. I hope to have this sorted soon.
