No need for stranded for in-wall installation stranded is mainly for patch
leads where the cable is constantly flexed, would cost a fortune anyway.

=20

We use =91reasonable=92 quality cable but no need to go for the very
expens=
ive
ones.=20

=20

Basically if whoever installs it follows the guidelines then they are
unlikely to damage the cables. You can usually tell by eye if a cable will
be a problem generally where the sparks treat it like T & E and fold it
up
in a bundle.

=20

Regards future proofing just run more cat5=85for example HDTV over Cat5
uni=
ts
are now becoming available but need two cat5s.

'wondered what people's thoughts were .... for wiring our HA my gut-feel=20
is to go only for the better Belden or Nexan cables & to avoid the=20
cheaper stuff ... to avoid installation & commissioning problems &
to=20
make 'more future-proof ... ?

Maybe I'm being paranoid !

'solid or stranded, though, I wonder ?
