Dodgy Linitx screen...

  • Subject: Dodgy Linitx screen...

Ordered a 8" Wide Touch screen from Linitx (I'll have to sort the
speakers
out after).

Arrived damaged, with the screen casing apart and bits of plastic rattling
inside. OK, not a major issue.

The screen tho is on the piss - ie tilted anit-clockwise 3 or 4 degrees.
Not so good.

Now the really weird part. If I plug the VGA cable (even if it's the TFT
is NOT powered) , it immediately kills the power to the laptop and a
battery removal and power cord removal are necessary before it will start
again.

Plug the VGA back in - woof ! dead.

Anyone seen that issue before ?

G.
