That'll be why you want to fill them then :)

I used the tongue and groove loft flooring packs to line wall first and
then
1800 x 900 plasterboard. Absolutely nothing is level and the studwork and
joists are on approximately 14" centres. My house is a small terrace
and
there was absolutely no way that an 8x4 sheet of anything will go upstairs.
Even the 6x3 sheets only just went up !!

I suppose mine were "reed" rather than "lath" due to
the availability of
Norfolk Reed. Its a bugger to remove with bits flying everywhere and it is
as sharp as hell :(

I had to do the walls as they were "springy" to the touch and
totally
uneven. As I was removing the old wall I found that the thickness varied
from about 3/4 inch to almost 1 1/2 inches in places.

Thankfully the really messy part is done now.... unless I decide to do
"our"
side of the wall at a later date!

Regards

Keith
