[OT] - cavity wall insulation ?

Sorry to be off topic again..

I'm looking at cavity wall insulation as a retro fit into our semi-detached
house and there seems to be two types, glass fibre and Bonded Bead. Our
house is a bit of a "house that Jack" built the rear is from pre
1880, the front was added in around 1910 and the side bay and brick attic
dormer in around 1920. There at least 4 type of brick plus sandstone. Doing
a google seems to indicate that Bonded Beads might be the better option
(although I'm concerned about what happens around airbricks etc.

Does anyone have any opinions over which product is better ?

Actually just thought, this is really on topic because the reason I've
started looking at this is because I've just looked at how much electricity
we're using running 3 servers 24/7 + Tivo + Sky etc !

Marcus
