Upgrading to Homeseer 2.0

Well I bit the bullet today and started to upgrade to Homeseer 2.0

Mixed results, but big hopes...

I have an instance of HS 1.7 running in the new house with a few
external devices, Temp05, VIOM, UPS

One issue with the hardware is that I don't have Audio capabilities on
the HS Server and wanted to be able to use it 'Zoned' as well. With HS
2.0 you can install a speaking app on remote PCs and point TTS to which
ever Zone you require, a big step forward.

I did have concerns that my existing scripts and plug ins wouldn't work.
This is where I expected and have experienced frustration. I use
mcsTemperature to monitor a Temp05 and provide graphing of readings. I
have always been fond of this and didn't want to lose it. The good news
is it works well in HS 2.0. On the other hand I have not been able to
get Paul Gordens VIOM Plug In to work. It's there but there is no way to
configure it, no com port or house code settings....

Working with a web interface is strange at the moment but does mean
configuring remotely is much more powerful than before.

Foe such a big change things are looking positive. Although I am glad
I'm not updating a fully working / configured house....

Any help on the VIOM plug in appreciated. Also where did I go wrong
trying to import my old settings, I've now started a completely new
config.

Regards

Nigel
