RE: Comfort touchscreen emulation - done !

I'd *love* get get a HS2 compliant version of the plugin off the
ground, as I suspect that without this, the plugin will wither & die as
more and more homeseer users migrate to HS2. Unfortunately, I don't think
that level of re-write is currently within my programming ability - I have
no idea how to convert all the forms to web-based ones for example.. - I
don't have a copy of VB.NET to play with or learn on, and I also don't have
a great deal of time at the moment to learn the new HS2 plugin API and the
.NET programming environment. I have talked with Patrick about
open-sourcing the code to see if others want to try to take it on (The
original work is Patrick's and the ownership of the majority of the code
remains with him, so I'm not really at liberty to give it out). Whilst not
actually against the idea, he's a little unsure how best it should be
managed & maintained, but I think all these questions shoule be easily
resolveable... This is of course assuming that Patrick doesn't fancy taking
u
p the challenge himself, - but I get the impression that his efforts are
pretty squarely concentrated on xAP projects at the moment...

Obviously, I don't speak for Patrick, these are just my impressions from
the conversations we've had in the past, - no doub't he'll jump in
shortly... :-)
