Re: Home document management?



Why keep them at all?  With the exception of bank statements, I just
keep the most recent.  I'm tempted to lob the statements too - on the
extremely rare occasion that I might unexpectedly need one, I can always
get a copy from the bank.

Anything that might be needed for the tax return (hmm, that reminds
me...) goes in an envelope, otherwise it's hello shredder!
