RE: [OT] TiVo - Network enabled but still requires phone line

OK I just checked and both the "Detect Dial Tone" and "Check
if phone busy" are set to "No"
I've also tested a bit further and it appears I that it is NOT using the
network for getting guide data. If I null out the phone number it still
works, but I'm guessing thats because it uses some hardcoded number
instead. Currently has #,401 in the number and that works, but entering
123456 comes up with a "Couldn't connect message"
Anyone any other ideas ?

Now that's a good point!.... not sure if it is set or not I will check
tonight.
If its as simple as that I'll have to paint myself yellow and say Doh!!!

Just a guess, but do you have it set to check if the phone is in use
before dialing? Could be one of those settings....?
