RE: HA Doorbell
Going via the HS speaker app seems to introduce another second or 2 of
delay. That's actually how I'm running it at the moment, as the HS control
of Sonos is patchy, so I've just installed the speaker app on another PC
that's on from 0600-0000, but the delay is more noticeable compared to my
original configuration of running it direct off the HA PC (still via the
speaker app, but it's all on the same PC).

Hey Peter,
That's interesting, 1 second isn't bad at all. I was planing on using the
HS2 speaker application in the main house to play a custom sound and the
chime module in an outbuilding. The good thing about the chime is that it
can be used anywhere :D
Cheers
