RE: What 50" Plasma?



That resolution is typical for 50" screens unless you go for a
1920x1080
model (generally supporting 1080p) at a much higher price. As you mentioned
before these screens are generally twice the price of "standard"
HD models.
I've decided that the current price differential is too high at the moment
to justify a 1920x1080 model I my own case. That may change once the new
Fuji 50" model arrives next summer but I will have bought my 50"
before then
so it is somewhat academic unless SWMBO is feeling generous :-)

I may be in the market for another 50" screen early next year (current
Panasonic 50" will get retired to my office :) )
