Where do I get the punchdown blocks nessessary for this?
Do I actually just punch down into the same blocks? As in punch
orange directly on top of orange, green directly on top of green?

You can get plugs for solid core. But surely you'd punch down both ends
to their own socket and connect them together with a patch cable?
I agree though - if you don't have a need to "patch" the two sets
of
cables (ie always a 1:1 connection) just use punch down blocks...
