Try Robocopy, it was a tool in the Windows 2000 Resource Kit, Robust
File Copy. It does what it says on the tin, and I use it daily at work to
backup Gb's of data between servers and sites.

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] XP file copy utility?

I'm looking for a third party file copy utility for XP that will only
replaces files that don't exist or are newer/bigger filesizes. XP's inbuilt
copy util is rubbish!

I need this as I've been trying to copy over 400Gb or so of music files
from an old PC to a new one but the copy keeps failing quite far through
(but at different places). I need to kick off the copy again but only copy
non-existent files.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Paul.
