I do this on a very regular basis, very few network applicances seem
to come with the IP address you want to use.

Usually just putting another system on the switch within the range you
want (192.168.2.0) will allow you to communicate with it. Once you are
in set the IP to what you want and then put your other system back to
what it was.

If your switch is unhappy about having multiple IP ranges going across
it simply unplug everything else until you have made the change - so
far I've not come across any issues with using the way above.
