They are pretty cool actually :)

I built one from a kit - Maplin reduced the kits to =A320 a few months=20
back, so I grabbed one to play with.
nice and easy to access.

I have it tied into my HA system using a variety of switches on the=20
end of CAT-5, generating xPL messages, which then fire off=20
script/determinators to do the do.

very fast.

One possible gotcha, the DLL supplied by Velleman doesn't support=20
interrupts - you have to poll it every 20ms or so.

still, nice kit.=20

I was thinking of getting another one to add more ports, but now=20
holding off till september to see how the VEBUS Velleman modules pan=20
out... :)
