Pop Quiz!

I'm looking for a good router (not an ethernet jobbie :) and am curious
as to what people have and how do you rate it?

I would imagine that 'the good ones' are going to start £150.00 and
up?

Also something that can be used as a hand held and mounted into a table
via a suitable plate of some sort.

1/2" or 1/4" bits? pros and cons
